Apply to join the Minnesota Breastfeeding Coalition Board of Directors!

Do you have an interest in promoting, protecting, and supporting breastfeeding and human lactation in Minnesota? We are seeking applicants for the Minnesota Breastfeeding Coalition Board of Directors. You do not need to be an expert in lactation to serve on the board. We value diverse perspectives and identities and encourage anyone aligned with our mission and values to apply.

We are looking for people for following roles:

• Treasurer-elect

• Secretary

• Director at-large

As a Board member, you can:

• Play a crucial role in shaping the direction of MBC and breastfeeding promotion in the state of Minnesota.

• Connect and network with other breastfeeding advocates around the state.

• Represent the interests of your local area.

• Give back to your community.

• Earn valuable experience as a non-profit Board member.

Board members are expected to:

• Attend monthly Board meetings.

• Participate in at least one subcommittee.

• Communicate with other Board members, subcommittee members, and the executive director in between meetings, as needed.

• Commit to a two-year term.
